"A Street School with the Desire to Inspire"

Vision and Values:

EDUCATION IS THE MOST POWERFUL WEAPON WHICH YOU CAN USE TO CHANGE THE WORLD

Our street school is not constrained by physical boundaries and we strive to ensure that our students’ aspirations are similarly boundaryless. We want to support the children to aim high, work hard and to achieve their goals. In learning to read, write and speak English we hope to improve their employment prospects. In supporting their school curriculum homework and pre-exam revision we hope to improve their academic scores and success. Through visits from professionals from a wide range of working environments, we hope to help them choose a career path. Through work experience placements with a variety of organisations we hope to inspire them to aspire. We aim to grow good, responsible global citizens who know their rights, the rights of others, and respect them.

Article 2 (Non-discrimination)

The Convention applies to all children, whatever their race, religion or abilities; whatever they think or say, whatever type of family they come from. It doesn’t matter where children live, what language they speak, what their parents do, whether they are boys or girls, what their culture is, whether they have a disability or whether they are rich or poor. No child should be treated unfairly on any basis.

Article 3 (Best interests of the child)

The best interests of children must be the primary concern in making decisions that may affect them. All adults should do what is best for children.
